Anna R. Jones, age 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family. She had attended Central Catholic High School and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Anna was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her grandchildren.

Anna R. Jones was born on December 5, 1934, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Dominic and Mary (Gennaitte) Barile. She married her husband of sixty-three years, Thomas L. Jones, on July 6, 1963, in Fort Wayne and he survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Daniel) Rhoades and Karen Jones of Fort Wayne; one son, Anthony (Mary) Jones, of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Justin and Katilyn Rhoades, Alicia and Micheal Jones, and Dominic and Hannah Jones, all of Fort Wayne; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Frieda Gabriel, Mary Lou Maniotes, and Antonette Holmes; and three brothers, Arthur, Joseph, and Dominic Barile, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Recitation of the rosary will be held at 3:30 P.M. prior to the visitation in the funeral home.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
