Anna Mae Russo, age 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. She had worked as a dietician at Parkview Hospital, a receptionist at insurance firms, a surveyor for newly created innovative products, and as a custodian at the University of Saint Francis. She was an elegant lady who enjoyed traveling, bicycling, playing cards with friends, Italian cooking, and playing with her beloved cat, Mitten.

Anna Mae Russo was born on October 7, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Jerry and Josephine (Cavallaro) Russo.

Survivors include a daughter Laura (Tom) Cox, of Fort Wayne, her significant other of twenty-eight years, Tim Borchelt, of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and her brother, Michael (Carole) Russo, of Wilmington, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kimberly Hatch and two brothers, Gerald and Joseph Russo.

A private memorial service celebrating Anna's life will be held at a later date.
