Obituary

Anthony “Tony” A. Till, age 66, passed away on October 15th at 4:50am surrounded by his family, following a two-year battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tony was a 1978 graduate of Bishop Luers High School. For 37 years, he was the proud owner and operator of Till Plumbing Inc., faithfully serving thousands of homes and businesses throughout the greater Fort Wayne area.

Above all, Tony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and a man of deep faith. Together with his beloved wife of 41 years, Lynn, he built a life centered around family, faith, and the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, restoring his classic Firebird, or tending to his lawn, Tony was always happily busy. Known for his remarkable ingenuity, he was the kind of man who could fix anything and enjoyed helping others. In his retirement, Tony loved traveling around the U.S. with his wife, Lynn and being “Papa” to his 6 grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent with them whether it was taking them for golf cart rides, playing outside or letting them steer his boat.

Throughout his cancer journey, Tony remained positive, grounded and courageous, all while inspiring those who knew him. He modeled what it truly means to live life fully, with purpose and gratitude, reminding us all to cherish our time on Earth. His steady presence, heart of gold, and practical wisdom will be deeply missed. Before his passing, Tony asked his family to express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who touched his life over the years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Myra Tovey; his father, William Till, and his nephew, Joshua Till.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Till; his daughter Rashelle (Ben) Chu and their children, Everly, Violet, and Ronin; son Brandon (Aliya) Till and their children, Jax, Luke, and Faith; his brother Matthew (Mary) Till; his sister Denise Robinson; his brother Joe (Teresa) Till; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Visitation will be from 1 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Devine Mercy in Huntertown, 1986 West Cedar Canyons Rd., Huntertown, IN 46748.

The funeral service will be held at 10am Friday, October 23, 2026 at Harvest Fellowship church, 1001 W. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46807, with visitation one hour prior. Following the service, the burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery.
