Arthur J. Bunt, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away September 4, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Arthur was born March 7, 1937 in the Catskill Mountains, NY a son of the late Benjamin and Ella Bunt.

The passion of his career was home building for over 30 years. His Catholic faith was an important part of his life. Spending time with is family, hunting and fishing were the things he enjoyed the most.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gail Bunt; sons, Art (Carol Rooney) Bunt, Ron (Debra Wagoner) Bunt; six grandchildren and their spouses and 24 great-grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his 9 siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Friday, September 9, 2022 at St Patrick's Catholic Church Arcola, 12305 Arcola Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818, with calling one hour prior.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. A rosary will be held at 7:30 pm.

Burial will be in St Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Arcola, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Smile Train or St. Patrick's Catholic Church Arcola.
