Barbara J. Davies, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday December 30, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. Barb was born in Indianapolis on December 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Edward H. "E.H." Purcell and Guila (Martin) Purcell. A Fort Wayne resident since 1946, she graduated from North Side High School with the Class of '55 and pursued a career as a Bookkeeper in the Auditing Depts. of Mr. Wiggs, Montgomery Ward and Morrill Motors.

Barb was a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and enjoyed movies, dining out and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Davies; daughter, Diana Rose; grandchildren, Justin McBride, Lindsay McBride, Joel (Shannon Harter) Bravick, Jason Morrow, Austin Rose and Nathan Rose; great-grandchildren, Collin Morrow, Caleb Bravick and Wyatt Bravick, all of Fort Wayne. Barb is also survived by a son-in-law, Michael McBride of Fort Wayne; a brother, John (Janice) Purcell of Auburn; nephews, Bill (Renee) Purcell of Fort Wayne and Shawn Purcell of Auburn.

In addition to her parents, Barb was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah McBride; sister, Kathleen (Jerry) Easterwood; niece, Joesette Purcell, and a great-grandson, Cameron Parker.

Funeral Service 1:00pm Saturday January 10, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Visitation from 12:00-1:00pm in the funeral home.  Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
