Barbara A. Harris, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Grey Stone Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne. Barbara was born in Fort Wayne to the late Everett and Edythe Harris. She retired from the State of Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Barbara is survived by her brother Everett "Bud" Harris and her sister Deborah Markiton. She was preceded in death by sister Mary Loretta Bilger. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN, Chaplain Ryan Howe presiding. Memorials in honor of Barbara may be made directly to Humane Fort Wayne, Wounded Warrior Project or The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
