Barbara J. Honekamp, 57, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Hammond, IN to William and Ruth Buzzo and graduated from Manistique High School in Manistique, MI. Barb received her associate's degree from Ferris State University and her bachelor's degree from Trine University. She worked 35 years as a radiology tech for Lutheran Hospital. Barb was a long-term parishioner and volunteer at St. Charles Catholic Church.

Barb's generosity, loyalty, and outgoing spirit were an inspiration to all those who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and being a cat mom. Most importantly, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving is her husband; Kenneth Honekamp, daughter; Shelby (Stephen) Wuest and grandson Calvin, mother; Ruth Buzzo, sisters; Stephanie (Chad) Conner and Trista (Joshua) Sjogren, father-in-law; Curt Honekamp, brother-in-law; Mike (Heather) Honekamp, sister-in-law; Beth (Tim) DeCordova along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; William Buzzo, brother; Willam Buzzo Jr. and mother-in-law; Mary Honekamp.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also Monday, November 25, 2024, from 2 to 4pm and 5 to 8pm at the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
