Barry T. Richards, 64, of Fort Wayne, died Monday August 31, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Trenton NJ on May 6, 1962, the son of the late John Richards, Jr. and Eleanor A. (Taylor) Richards.

He married Pamela A. (McAbee) Richards on June 24, 1989; Pam survives along with their sons, Zachary (Jayla) Richards of Hicksville OH, and Alec (Erin Tidd) Richards of Westfield; granddaughter, Beckley Richards (and one more “on the way”); brothers, Scott Richards and John (Kirsten) Richards, both of Fort Wayne, Todd (Liz) Richards of Inverness FL, and a sister, Dawn Ward of Fort Wayne, along with several nieces & nephews.

Barry was retired and an avid sports fan; he enjoyed Chicago Cubs baseball, Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears football, and liked to play golf. He was a member of Leo Lodge #224, F.&A.M. and the Mizpah Shrine, and he always cherished the time he spent with his family & friends.

Visitation for Barry is scheduled from 2-5pm Sunday September 20, 2026 at the Mizpah Shrine, 1015 Memorial Way, Fort Wayne, concluding with a Masonic Service, and followed by a family dinner.
