Benjamin Laurence Johnson, age 40, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on August 13, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1986, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert Johnson and Robin Fish. He grew up locally and graduated from Homestead High School in Fort Wayne.

Ben built a lifelong career on the road and possessed an immense work ethic. He spent many rewarding years driving trucks alongside his brother, Cory, and later dedicated himself as a proud Teamster hauling for Brooks Construction Company, Inc. Known for his steady hands behind the wheel and strong commitment to his fellow crew members, he took great pride in the miles he logged and the infrastructure he helped build across the region.

From the time he was just three years old, Ben discovered a deep love for playing hockey. He spent his childhood and youth on the ice, playing the game he loved all the way through high school. As an adult, he found peace and happiness being on the water and making memories with the people he cared about most. Above all, Ben absolutely adored his three little girls and took profound pride in being a husband and a father. Whether he was relaxing by the lakeside or sharing a laugh at home, spending quality time with his family and close friends was truly what brought him the most joy. He will always be remembered for his strong character, his generous heart, and his steady presence among those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bethany "Annis" Johnson; their children, Quinn Johnson (12), Piper Johnson (9), and Summer Johnson (7); his mother, Robin Fish, and stepdad, Norman Fish; his grandmother, Jane Church; his sister, Kelly Johnson (and nieces Jordyn Dominguez and Jacey Dominguez); his brother, Cory Johnson; his sister, Alana Johnson (and nieces Layla Johnson and Madelyn Knight); his stepbrother, Dustin Fish; and his stepbrother, Dylan Fish and Dylan's partner, Tiffany. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Johnson, and his grandparents, Marilyn Johnson, William Johnson, and Donald Church.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Huntertown, located at 1986 West Cedar Canyons Road, Huntertown, IN 46748.
