Betty Jo Ison, age 89, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Betty was born in Richmond, IN to the late Sidney and Ruth Newton. Betty married William Ison of Huntington, Indiana. She was a graduate of Florida Christian College, working in accounting before dedicating her life to her husband and children. She enjoyed crafting, cake baking and candy making. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Surviving are her children Debra Lowrance, Billie Ison and David Ison; brother Eugene Newton and sister Ellen Carpenter; 8 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years William Ison.
