Brenda M. Griggs, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away suddenly on Friday, May 23, 2025.

She was born in Fort Wayne on January 17, 1955, to the late Edward and Lois (Panyard) Christman.

On September 7, 1974, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Griggs. Together they raised three beautiful children, Amy, Chad, and Brian. Their family continued to blossom with eight grandchildren.

She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

In her free time, Brenda Loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William; children, Chad (Aimee) Griggs, Amy Griggs, and Brian (Stephanie) Griggs; grandchildren, Brooke, Nora, Hudson, Gage, Remi, Hazel, Michael, and Emily; and siblings, Marsha Thelen, Dianna Baker, Cheryl Shelburne, Charles Christman, and Terry Christman.

Also preceding her in death was a brother, Phil.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street, Fort Wayne with calling from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Calling will also be Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. Burial will follow mass at Catholic Cemetery.
