Brent G. Buschey, 68, of Fort Wayne, died Friday April 18, 2025. Brent was born in Fort Wayne on December 5, 1956, the son of (the late) Gilbert and Helen (Anderson) Buschey. He graduated from Elmhurst High School with the Class of '75.

Brent ran a successful pool service business, from which he had retired. He enjoyed being outside working in his garden, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family & friends, whether on fishing trips in Minnesota, trying his luck with an occasional visit to the casinos, working on pop machines, catching a Sunday NASCAR race or simply teasing his grandchildren.

Brent is survived by his daughter, Carrie (Brent) Svitak and his grandchildren, Madeline and Dakota Svitak, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Val (Cathy Knight) Buschey of LaPorte and Lauren (Jeff) Widman of Fort Wayne.

In addition to his parents, Brent was also preceded by a sister, Rene Buschey.
