Brian Keith Dean, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Friday August 21, 2026. He was born in Fort Wayne on November 24, 1960, the son of the late Wallace LeRoy and Patricia Eveyln (Rohr) Dean. Brian was employed as an engineer in the automotive supply industry.

Survivors include wife, Angela Dean of Fort Wayne; daughters, Courtney (Joe) Shepherd of Garrett, Danielle Dean of Columbia City, Danielle (Mason Marlatt) Sittloh of Fort Wayne, and Andi (Brent Kreiger) Dean of Huntington; grandchildren, Felix Smith of Garrett, Sophie Shepherd of Waterloo and Khloe Shepherd of Garrett.

In addition to his parents, Brian was also preceded in death by his first wife, Debra (Bartels) Dean; a son, Jacob Dean and a sister, Sondra Potter.

Brian was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed music and signing, favoring classic rock, the Beach Boys and Gospel music.
