Carl Russel Dunn, 77, of New Haven, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital.

Carl was born on January 8, 1948 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Julius and Sophronie (Boykins) Dunn.

Mr. Dunn admirably answered his country's call and served with honor in the United States Army.

On September 26, 1992, Carl married the love of his life, Patricia Hill.

After 40 years of dedicated work, Carl retired from General Motors.

In his free time, Carl enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; children, Carl Anthony (Mitzi) Dunn, Leila Adjei, and Catherine Hill; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Julius (Diane) Dunn.

Also preceding Carl in passing were a son, Brion Dunn; and brother, Lamar Dunn.

A Memorial Service celebrating Carl's Life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling from 12 noon until the start of the service at 1 p.m.
