It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and friend, Charles N. Mynett, who left us peacefully on March 27, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on September 21, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Charles and Ruth (Buesher) Mynett.

He was the owner of Mynett Music Company founded in 1933 in Fort Wayne, IN., With his employees, he rented, sold, and repaired musical instruments.

Charlie’s passion was race cars both Sprint and modified cars. He was a gifted welder. A hobby was collecting diecast cars.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Pauline M. Mynett, and his son, Charles J. Mynett. He is also survived by a stepson; James C. Bugyis, grandchildren; Charles Davis & Amelia Sky Mynett, a sister; Barbara (Bob) Skinner, brothers; Lawrence (Jean) Mynett and Thomas (Lee) Mynett, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Ruth Mynett, as well as a half-brother, James Smith.

Services have been postponed until further notice.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
