Charlotte H. Dye, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday October 27, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice Home. She was born July 28, 1936 in Parkersburg WV, the daughter of (the late) Forrest and Myrtle (Ayres) Cheuvront. On March 5, 1955, Charlotte married Ronald Dye, who preceded her in death on December 19, 2012 after 57 years of marriage. In addition to her parents and husband Ron, Charlotte was also preceded by her brothers, Forrest Cheuvront, Jr. and Paul Cheuvront. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Angela LaSalle of Fort Wayne, and several nieces & nephews.

Charlotte retired from the Distribution offices at North American Van Lines. She was a member of the East Allen Co. Church of Christ and had an appreciation for nature, birds and music. She cherished the time she spent with family & friends, and caring for her dog "Chloe", a Cairn-Westie mix who provided her with tremendous enjoyment.

Rev. Lonel Braswell will officiate the 12:00pm Funeral Service on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Divine Mercy Lake Avenue Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Visitation also on Thursday from 5-8pm in the funeral home. Charlotte will be laid to rest with her husband Ron, in Covington Memorial Gardens.
