Cheryl Lynn Doak, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024.

She was born in Fort Wayne to Raymond L. and Wanda (Patrick) Blauvelt.

On December 31, 1981 in Fort Wayne, she married the love of her life, Paul Doak.

Mrs. Doak had worked as a coordinator for the Rod Woodson Football Camp, as a photographer, and with the after-school program at Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Cheryl enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, being outdoors Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears She will be fondly remembered as the best baker, but most of all, she will be remembered for her love of her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Paul; son, Brooks; parents, Ray and Wanda; and grandchildren, Cleopatra, Azaria, and Phoenix; and sibling Cindy Nissen and Jeff Blauvelt.

Preceding her in death were siblings Lester Blauvelt and Raymond Blauvelt.

A Celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Come 2go Ministry 323 W Baker St, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to the service.
