Clyde K. Shank, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Ash Wednesday March 5, 2025 at his residence. Clyde was born in Albion, IN to the late Fred and Vera Blanche (Lock) Shank. He retired from International Harvester (Navistar) in 1994 after 30 years of service. Clyde was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church and enjoyed road running, golf and trap shooting and completed several marathons including the Boston Marathon. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran that loved his family and raising his sons with his wife of 66 years Janice Shank. Clyde is survived by his sons; Steve (Diane) Shank and Tom (Alicia) Shank, grandchildren; Scott Moses, Carol (Tyler) Radke, Madeline Janice Shank and Maggie Shank, and great-grandchildren; Ella, Ebie and Axel Radke. Clyde was preceded in death by his loving wife Janice and 4 year old son Philip (who he was looking forward to seeing in Heaven), brothers; Floyd Shank, Orthelle Shank, Thadd Shank and Wilbur Shank, sisters; Betty Meiers and Marilyn Felzer. A celebration of Clyde's life will be 10:30am Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne IN, with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Preferred memorials can be made in Clyde's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Burial will take place in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
