MA. Concepcion Moreno Calderon, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Espanita Yuriria, Guanajuato (Mexico) on November 8, 1939, the daughter of (the late) Domingo Moreno and Augustina Moreno Calderon.

Concepcion was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; she enjoyed animals & nature, and caring for her pet dogs, but her true joy in life were her family & friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Agustin, Jose and David Flores, all in California; Claudio Flores in Kentucky; Jesus, Mariano and Eduardo Flores, all in Pennsylvania; Domingo Flores and Araceli Cardoso, both of Fort Wayne; Teresa Morales in Michigan; Adela Cortez of Chicago, IL and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Concepcion was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Flores Tapia, and all of her siblings.

Visitation for Concepcion is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 12:00-4:00pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 12:00pm. She will be repatriated to her hometown in Mexico for the Funeral Mass and Burial.
