Obituary

Daloris Marie Hagar (Shank) passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Robert and Clarita Shank on August 31, 1938, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and graduated from Central Catholic High School.

Daloris dedicated 37 years of her career to General Telephone, beginning as a switchboard operator and working her way through the company until retirement.

She met and married the love of her life, David R. Hagar, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Blessed with four children, Daloris found her greatest joy in family. She cherished traveling, treasured time with her loved ones, and never passed up the chance to enjoy a cold beer and a hot slot machine.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, David, and their son Daniel. She is survived by her sons David (Kathy), Michael (Lisa), and Mark (Nancy), as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.

Daloris' vibrant spirit, quick wit, and love for life will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
