Daniel P. Jasper, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday September 5, 2026. Dan was born in Fort Wayne on April 30, 1050, the son of the late Ronald and Nancy (Borkenstein) Jasper. He was the retired owner of Jasper Painting.

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle C. Calhoun of Denver CO; brothers, Tom Jasper, Ron (Rae) Jasper and Andy Jasper, all of Fort Wayne, and Mike (Connie) Jasper of Merriam; sisters, Lynn (Tony) Wood of Fort Wayne and Christine Jasper of Churubusco; best friend, Sandra S. Lewis of Fort Wayne; several nieces & nephews and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Jennifer Jasper, and his grand-dog, Cooper.

Dan was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was devout in his faith; he had served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. He was a former youth football coach and former player for the Fort Wayne River City Rhinos. His greatest joy in life were the times he spent with family & friends, and caring for his pet dogs.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Monday, September 14, 2026, in St Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr. with visitation from 9:30-10:30am in the church.
