Darren Taylor Gray, 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, surrounded by family. Born on February 10, 1961, in Wichita, KS, he was the son of the late Gregory and Peggy (who survives) Gray. Darren was a graduate of Arizona State, and worked as financial advisor, most recently, at Stifel in Fort Wayne. When not working, he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends and family. Darren was always social and was truly a "life of the party" kind of person. He knew no stranger. Darren loved to travel, usually seeking warmer weather, especially Arizona. He was truly always an optimist, even while battling his health issues. His two greatest accomplishments are his children, Chloe and Jack, whom he bragged about often. His absence in the lives of his family and friends will be profound. Left to cherish and honor Darren's memory are his children, Chloe and Jack Gray; his mother, Peggy Gray; brothers, Dodd (Abbe) and Chandler (Lori) Gray; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Gray. A memorial visitation for Darren will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
