David M. Lanning, 75, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday June 24, 2025. Dave was born in Fort Wayne on March 5, 1950, the son of (the late) Virgil A. Lanning Sr. and Selma M. (Boneff) Lanning. He graduated from Snider High School with the Class of '68 and went on to serve his country with honor in the US Marine Corps. Dave had retired from International Harvester Corp.

Survivors include his sisters, Julie Combs and Lorraine (Robert) O'Neal, both of Fort Wayne, and Pamela (Michael) Gladieux of Syracuse; his brothers, Joseph (Beth) Lanning of Fort Wayne and Christopher Lanning, residing in Thailand.

In addition to his parents, Dave was also preceded in death by brothers, Virgil A. Lanning, Jr., Keith Lanning, Philip Lanning and John Lanning.
