Deborah "Debbie"
Fisher
Feb 21, 1970 — Jul 6, 2026
Fort Wayne
Deborah "Debbie" Fisher, 56, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Debbie was born on February 21, 1970, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Richard and Kathleen (Usher) Main. She earned her associate degree in computer science from Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne and worked as a customer service representative at Lincoln Financial.
Family always came first for Debbie. She was known for a love that had no limits. She was there for you no matter what, and she forgave as freely as she loved. A woman of Christian faith, she found her joy in time spent with family, playing games, going on trips, and taking in movies and shows. She was also a big fan of music. Some of her favorite artists were Dolly Parton, Prince, Jimmy Buffett, and Amy Winehouse. She had a soft spot for the classics, including I Love Lucy, Shirley Temple films, and The Sound of Music, and she never missed her favorite talent shows: America's Got Talent, The X Factor, American Idol, and The Voice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William Edward Fisher and Jerry Wayne Barker; and her infant son, Damian.
Debbie is survived by her children, Jazmine Long (Casey), Victoria Goelz (Tyler), Waylon Fisher (Adrianna), and Wesley Barker; her grandchildren, Mackenzi Shelton, Logan Shelton, William Adams, Allen Adams, Chandler Adams, Haven Goelz, Zayne Goelz, Jaxson Goelz, Jazlyn Goelz, and Lincoln Fisher; her siblings, David Main (Angie), Rebecca Barker (Doug C.), Victoria Miller (Shane), Julia Hogle (Scott), and Kristina Main; many nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. Burial will follow the service at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5365 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
