Deborah C. Partee, 71, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday September 10, 2024 at Canterbury Nursing and Rehab Center. Deb was born in Fort Wayne on October 5, 1952, the daughter of Florence (Christoff) "Chris" Partee and (the late) Thomas C. Partee. She graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School and earned her master's degree from NYU. Deb was a retired journalist who served at various bureaus including The Associated Press. She is survived by her mother, Florence "Chris" Partee of Fort Wayne; brothers, Thomas X. (Elizabeth) Partee, Terry (Maureen) Partee, and Christopher (Diane) Partee, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary (Bud) Miller of Fort Myers FL, Julie (Jerry) Pizzo of Fort Wayne, and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her father, Deb was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Partee. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday September 19, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Visitation from 10-11am. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. The family's preferred memorials are Masses directed to St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr. Ft. Wayne IN 46805.
