Derald R. Lehman, 79, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and sons by his bedside on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Donald and Edna Lehman. Derald went to Central High School and was a proud Marine veteran that loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Melody Lehman, sons; Matthew Lehman and Mark Lehman, siblings; Howard (Kathy) Lehman, Gerald (Judy) Lehman, Karen Hudda, Connie Lehman, Michael (Lynette) Lehman and Terry (Molly) Lehman, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Susie (Kevin) Jones and Sherri (Kenny) Smith, brothers-in-law; Steve (Joy) Montgomery and John (Tammy) Wrisk and several nieces and nephews. Derald was preceded in death by his Daughter; Tracy Lehman-Bly, brothers; Roy Lehman and Ronald Lehman, sister; Judy Beck, sisters-in-law; Barbara Lehman and Rita Lehman, brother-in-law; Ray Beck and grandsons; Keith and Conner. Graveside services with Marine military honors will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 19, 2025 at Prairie Grove Cemetery, 6312 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne IN, 46809. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne IN, 46805. Memorials may be made in Derald's honor to Parkview Hospice.
