Diana K. Wiedenhoeft, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday September 27, 2026. She was born in Findlay OH on June 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Loren Moser and N. Maxine (Young) Moser. On February 13, 1971, Diana married William A. Wiedenhoeft; Bill survives along with their children, Cheryl L. Wiedenhoeft of Winter Springs FL and Jon W. Wiedenhoeft of Fort Wayne; brother, Glen (Barbara) Moser of Ossian and step-sister, Becky Vachon of Findlay OH.
In addition to her mother and father, Diana was also preceded in death by her step-father, Leo “Skip” Garey and step-brother, Robert Garey.
Diana earned her nursing degree at Bowling Green State University, Area School of Nursing, and began a 42-year career of care to others; Diana retired in 2009 from Parkview Hospital.
Diana was an avid quilter, and enjoyed making project samples for Edward’s Sewing Center as well as displayed her beautiful pieces of work in area quilting shows. She enjoyed traveling the States with her husband upon retirement as well as visiting the theme parks with her daughter in Florida. Everyone loved her chocolate chip cookies!
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday October 6, 2026 in St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd. with visitation from 9:30-10:30am in the church. Visitation is also from 5-7pm Monday at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Diana will be laid to rest in Catholic Cemetery. The family’s preferred memorial is Parkview Home Health & Hospice, c/o Parkview Foundation of Allen Co., online at Parkview.com/foundations, or by mail to 1900 Carew St, Unit 6, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
