Diane Mary Magsamen, 90 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

She was born on January 29, 1934 in Oxford, England to the late John and Kate (Hughes) Aldworth. After meeting just after World War II in England she came to Fort Wayne in 1954 and married the love of her life Lawrence W. Magsamen Jr. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.

Diane worked as a Hairdresser at The Corner House in Fort Wayne before going on to care for her expanding family as a homemaker. She would take the family back to her family home of Oxford many times over the years and lived in England and California before settling in Fort Wayne. She was a master knitter, gardener and cook and was truly loved by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Magsamen, Josh Magsamen, Kate (Mark) Lewis and John (Barbara) Magsamen; Grandchildren Neal (Leigh), Kyle (Lauren), Ryan (Caitlin), Emma, Evie, Charlie, Ben (Kara), Abigail (Ryan) and Luke (Sarah). And 15 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of Diane's Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
