Donald G. Hoffman II, 52, of Huntertown, died Wednesday March 8, 2023 at Parkview (North) Regional Medical Center. Don was born in Louisville KY on October 2, 1970, the son of Dorothy "Dotsie" (Steinauer) Hoffman and (the late) Donald G. Hoffman, Sr. Don was a graduate of Carroll High School and on April 23, 2003, he married Stephanie (Crooks) Hoffman. Don built electrical panels for Asphalt Drum Mixers (ADM). He was known for being sharp-minded and always anxious to continue learning. Devoted to his family & friends, Don enjoyed nature & animals, and caring for his dog, Dexter. Also a car enthusiast, he was having fun with the Tesla he recently acquired. Don is survived by Stephanie Hoffman, his wife of 19 years; daughters, Azura (Taylor) Futterknecht of Wakarusa and Alyssa (Justin) Sullivan of Rushville; son, Donald G. "Donnie" Hoffman III of Huntertown; his mother, Dotsie Hoffman of Huntertown; grandchildren, Katerina Sakellariou, Xenovia "Xeni" Sakellariou and Margaret Futterknecht, all of Wakarusa and Rosalie Sullivan of Rushville; sister, Trisha (Matt) Cavacini and brother, Ben (Natalie) Hoffman, both of Huntertown. In addition to his father, Don was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Hoffman. The family is planning a Celebration of Don's Life, to be held at a later date. Arrangements were through Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave.
