Donald J. Miller, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024.

He was born on June 19, 1930 in Fort Wayne to the late Donald H. and Lucille (Conrad) Miller.

Donald was a 1949 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Mr. Miller honorably answered his nations call and served 4 years in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

On December 1, 1951, in Fort Wayne, he married the love of his life, Laura Gottfried.

Donald retired in 1992 after 36 years in Wholesale Delivery with Allen Dairy.

He was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. In his free time, Donald volunteered for 22 years with Saint Mary's Soup Kitchen.

Survivors include his children, Donald K. (Jan) Miller, Rhonda Zollinger, and Nancy Henline; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; and brothers, Thomas Miller, and Phillip (Marsha) Miller.

Also preceding him in death were his loving wife of 72 Years, Laura Miller; a son, Gregory Miller; and a brother, John Miller.

A Funeral celebrating Donald's Life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be directed to Saint Mary's Soup Kitchen.
