Donna Mae Winters, 94 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully on Monday Dec 2, 2024, at her home in Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community.
She was born on May 6, 1930 in Huntington, IN to the late Lewis and Marium (Hull) Johnston.

Mrs. Winters was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, always caring for her family. Once her children were out of the house, she went to work at Imaging Office Systems.

Donna loved music. She was a soprano singer and member of St Jude's choir. Donna also was a member of the Northern Notes and the Hearthstone Ensemble singing groups, for over 60 years. But, perhaps her greatest passion was sharing the love of Jesus with everyone.

She is survived by her children; David (Suzanne) Winters, Mark Winters, Carol Winters, Stanley Winters, Gary (Pamela) Winters, John (Sarah) Winters, Matthew (Elizabeth) Winters and Bruce (Laurie) Winters, 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband; Francis Winters, brothers; Lewis Johnston Jr, Charles Johnston, William Johnston Sr., Richard  Johnston, and Robert Johnston, daughters-in law;  Francine (Mark) Winters, Rose Lynn (Stanley) Winters, and grandson Isaac (Stanley and Rose Lynn) Winters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1pm Saturday, December 14, 2024, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr. Fort Wayne, IN with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also 2:30pm to 3:30pm Friday, December 13, 2024, at Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community, 1900 Randallia Dr. with the Rosary recited at 3:30pm. Another calling will be held 5 to 7pm Friday, December 13, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
