Doris M. Regnier, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

She was born in Illinois on July 23, 1937 to the late Leroy and Lena (Buswell) Eaken.

On February 23, 1957 in Illinois, Doris married the love of her life, Gene Regnier.

Doris was the Owner and Operator of The Sign Shoppe in Fort Wayne.

She along with her husband, Gene, were members of Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.

Durning her younger years, Doris was an avid golfer, but her favorite pastime was quilting.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; Children, Sue (Paul) Mettler, Linda (Mark) Craig, and Steve (Laura) Regnier; grandchildren, Adam Mettler, Kara (Seth) Woodard, Cody (Abby) Craig, Ethan Craig, Elizabeth (Andrew) Kendrick, Jennifer Stineberg, and Chris Regnier; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Eaken.

Also preceding her in death was a sister, Donna Smith.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling from 12 p.m. until the start of the service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Catholic Cemetery
