Ethel M. Randolph, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday May 4, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Winston-Salem NC, the daughter of the late James Hampton Whitmore and Thestle Margarette (Tyner) Whitmore.
Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. She retired as a receptionist from Neighborhood Health Clinic. Known for her compassionate and caring spirit; she never met a stranger. She had the ability to make everyone feel loved and cherished, enjoyed cooking, sharing meals with her family, and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and loved Jeff Gordon. Ethel was a member of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation. Ultimately, her greatest joys in life were spending time with family and friends, creating memories and loving one another.
Survivors include Steve Randolph, her husband of 30 years, and their children; Kathleen Gibson (Ron Pandoff) of Fort Wayne, Jerry (Alex) Johnson-Matamoros of Bedford TX, Lisa (Dean) Boroff of Columbia City, Denise (Dr. R.Todd) Mabry of South Whitley, Jeff (Shelley) Randolph of Roanoke and Nicole (Travis) Arivett of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kellie Minick of Fort Wayne, Kevin Gibson of Columbia City, Codie (Adriana) Jones of Fort Wayne, Jordan Jones of Columbia City, Tristan (Kayla) Jones of Columbia City, Samantha (Garrett) Meadows of Larwill, Taylor (Luke) Schrader of Columbia City, Sydney (Lukus) Bolinger of Columbia City, Nick Pandoff of Fort Wayne, Megan (Dr. Chase) Perkins of Indianapolis, Kaitlyn Arivett of Indianapolis, Justin (Katie) Randolph of Fort Wayne; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Ethel is also survived by her sister, LaBonnie (David) Rodewald of Port Orange FL and her brother, Vincent (Karen) Whitmore of Fort Wayne.
In addition to her parents, Ethel was also preceded in death by twin infant sons; her great-grandson, Vinny Perkins and a brother, Autry Whitmore.
Funeral Service 10:00am Thursday May 8, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm in the funeral home. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.
