Euribe Ruddy Smith, also known as Ruddy, was born to the proud parents Antonia Mercedes and Gerardo Smith in San Pedro de Macorix, Dominican Republic on December 28, 1950, but declared on January 10, 1952.

As a singer in a church choir at the tender age of 17, he migrated to America and landed in New York City where he put down his roots. There he attended Hostos Community College, met and later married his wife, and had four beautiful children.

In 1993, Ruddy, his wife and four children moved to Miami Florida; as an entrepreneur established and managed his own business for many years, Dominican Tires. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. His love for music, dancing and fashion was something he shared with us all, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.

On Monday, July 22, 2024, at 12:13 p.m., Ruddy made a transition from this life to his eternal resting place.

He leaves to mourn his beautiful, loving, dedicated, wife of 47 years Fior D'aliza; son, Euribe Ruddy Jr (Baby); daughters, Fior D'aliza (Cuchi), Christine, Maylynn; grandchildren; D'andre, Imariah, Chadderick Jr., Da'Shawn, Dante, Ashton, Christian, Isabella, and Gianna; two great grandchildren, D'andre Jr. and A'laia; and a host of loving family members and friends.

Ruddy can be found in the sun, moon and the stars. He is in the air you breathe and in every breath you take. He will continue to sing songs of hope and cheer. Where he is, there is no more pain or fear. His love for his family and friends will live on forever.
