Francisco M. Vasquez SR passed away June, 30 2025 in the comfort of his own home. He was born April 2, 1946 in Laredo, Texas. He retired from Alro Steel in 2006. He enjoyed collecting old cars, going to flea markets, cookouts, tinkering around in his garage, telling stories,gardening, being around his family and friends and welcomed anyone and everyone into his life.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Vasquez of Fort Wayne, Son Juan Vasquez of Fort Wayne, Son Francisco T. Vasquez JR (Anna) of Fort Wayne, Daughter Rosa Vasquez of Texas, son Joe Gonzales of Fort Wayne, son Paul Gonzales of Fort Wayne. He has 20 grandkids, several great grandkids and many neices and nephews. All who loved him very much.

He is proceeded in death by ILdefonso Vasquez SR (father), Petra M. Vasquez(mother), Juan Vasquez (brother),Gilberto Vasquez (brother), ILdefonso Vasquez Jr.(brother), Aurora Morales (sister), Miguel T. Vasquez (son), Victoria Gonzales (daughter), and Anita Clingan (daughter).

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church on Brooklyn with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Monday, July 7, 2025 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home on Lake Avenue.
