Griffin Michael
O’Keefe
August 3, 2023 – February 4, 2024
Griffin Michael O'Keefe passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother and his big sister in the early morning hours of February 4th. He was born on August 3rd and spent his 6 months on earth bringing love and joy to his family, especially his 8 siblings. Griffin will be remembered most for his larger than life smile that he generously shared with anyone he met. He captured the hearts of all who knew him. As the youngest of 62 grandchildren, he loved to be held, carried, and snuggled by his large, loving family. Griffin was born with Timothy Syndrome and despite these special needs, he gave so much more than he received. He opened the eyes of so many to love and accept the beauty in our differences and taught us how these challenges in life can bring us closer to God. In the last month of his life, Griffin was at Riley Children's Hospital receiving the most compassionate care imaginable. The staff at Riley provided Griffin the medical treatment and the love he needed to keep fighting on. And his mom, who never once left his side, provided him the most loving care. He was finally called to Heaven where he would feel no more pain. It was a blessing that his mom, dad, and all of his siblings were together visiting him and surrounding him with love the day before he passed.
Griffin was preceded in death by Grandfather Tom O'Keefe, cousin Bodie Henry, and cousin Ellionna Henry.
He is survived by
-Grandparents Steve and Nancy (Tippmann) Henry and Sharon (Wendling) O'Keefe
-Parents Joe and Pam (Henry) O'Keefe
-Siblings Patrick, Henry, Brady, Nicholas, Alaina, Luke, Ryan, and Dillon O'Keefe.
