Herman Vincent Meyer, 85, of Fort Wayne died March 2, 2024 at his residence in Fort Wayne, IN. Vince was born September 26, 1938 in Kewanna IN and was a Central Catholic graduate of 1957. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served in the US Navy and was in the reserves for 23 years. Vince was an accountant- inspector with the Fort Wayne Housing Authority for over 30 years and retired in 2013. He loved animals and spending time and eating at La Margarita. Vince is survived by friend, Mary Ann Thomas-Ross of Fort Wayne, and his friends-family at La Margarita. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Ellen Meyer. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling one hour prior. Burial with military honors will be in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or Humane Fort Wayne.
