Jack W. Dennis, 90, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026. He was born on February 23,1936 in Clinton, Indiana and worked as a heavy equipment operator for over forty years.

Surviving are his beautiful bride of 71 years, Helen (Latinovich), daughter Lisa (Jim Harrison) Dennis, and sons Todd W. Dennis and Troy W. (Tamma) Dennis; along with six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A sister, Vicki (Bill) Crawford, brother Mike (Shirley) Dennis along with several nieces and nephews

Preceding in death were Stephen Dennis, brother; Marcia (Wisniewski) Dennis, beloved daughter-in-law; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.

Jack was a 68 year member of the Local #103 as a heavy equipment operator working throughout northeast Indiana.

He was a member of Sanctuary United Methodist Church, served in the Air Force Reserves for eight years and was a Fifty member of Waynedale Masonic Lodge #739, the Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine.

A Memorial Service Will be held this Saturday, October 24, 2026 at noon at Divine Mercy Funeral Home on Lake Avenue.

Visitation will take place one hour prior, 11:00am at same location

Inurnment will take place in All Saints Columbarium at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospitals or to Saint Judes Children’s Research Hospitals
