Jackie L. Heil, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away at home Saturday, October 21, 2023. Jack was born September 2, 1942 in Celina, OH, to the late Ralph and Mary Jane Heil. Jack spent his early childhood in Fort Recovery, OH and later childhood in Syracuse, IN. He served in the United States Air Force. Jack worked as a Machinist at GE for 37 years.

Jack is survived by wife, Barbara Heil; three daughters, Deborah Brokaw, Corinna (Jeff) Ladd, Melissa (Steve) Wolf all of Fort Wayne, IN; siblings, Rex (Karen) Heil, Julia (Bob (deceased)) Niles and Ron (Nancy) Mason all of Syracuse, IN; grandchildren Jacqueline Sproat, Justin Offerle, Gabrielle (Duncan) Bowie, George Wolf and Alexandria Wolf and 5 great grandkids. Preceding Jack in death was his sister, Gretchen Heil.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, October 27, 2023 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with visitation to be held 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
