James Michael "Jim" Fraizer, 55, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 11, 2024.
He was born on June 7, 1969 in Fort Wayne to Michael H. and Carolyn (Glass) Fraizer.
Jim was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Luers High School where he was a member of the 1986 State Champion Football Team.
Jim attended Saint Joseph College, and then graduated from the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. He then went on to work for Saint Joseph Hospital in the burn unit, where he found the love of his life, Debbie Atkinson. More recently, Jim was employed by Heritage Park, where he worked as a Registered Nurse.
Jim had many passions, but, above all else, His faith and love for God is what he will always be remembered for.
He was a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; mother, Carolyn; siblings, Molly (Michael) Horn, Megan (Diarmuid) Treacy, and Mitch (Emily) Fraizer; nieces and nephews, Bob, Kate, Padraig, Roisin, Mac, Billie, Holly, Heather, Anthony, Zachery, and Gianni; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his English Bulldog, Ivan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael H. Fraizer.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with calling from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Calling will also be Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary Beginning at 4 p.m. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Highland Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Saint Therese Catholic Church.
