Janet S. Jenkins, 85, passed away Saturday July 13, 2024, at her residence in Ft. Wayne, IN. Janet was born in Ft. Wayne and attended St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking and loved her family. Janet is survived by her children, Greg Jenkins, James Jenkins and Judy Jenkins, 8 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Jenkins. Funeral service will be 1pm Friday July 19, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lave Ave. Ft. Wayne, with calling 1 hour prior from noon to 1pm. Calling also Thursday July 18, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm with the Rosary recited at 4pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Ft. Wayne.
