It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet M. Sirios  born on September 30, 1964, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Janet, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, departed this life peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 61, after her hard fought battle with cancer.

On a full ride tennis scholarship Janet played at Western Michigan  University, earning her Bachelors degree. She spent many years with Fort Wayne Community Schools as a Textbook Inventory Specialist where she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication to all those she served.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Brian Houser; her son, Daniel (Jen) Sirois; her grandchildren; Dakota & Scarlett Sirois, Olivia & Natalie Houser, Cora & Archer Miller, her siblings: Sandy Seyfert, Linda Tanoos, Michael Weigand, Edward Weigand, Steven Weigand, Sue Holroyd, and Peg Springer. Her family and friends will forever cherish the many memories they created together.

Janet was preceded in death by her son, Michael Sirois, brothers, Terrance & Patrick Weigand, and  parents, Joseph & Mary (Bennett) Weigand

Funeral services will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46825, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11:00 am, with visitation  one hour prior. Visitation at Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons, 1986 W. Cedar Canyons Rd., Huntertown, IN 46748, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a rosary service at 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Goshen Center for Cancer or Stillwater Hospice.
