Janie Ellen Kiggins, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS on November 15, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Vivian (White) Favorite. Janie graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne, with the class of 1960. She retired in 2007 after decades of service with various Indianapolis based automobile dealerships. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her twin sister, Julie Teeple. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jackson of Fort Wayne, grandsons Nate (Haley) and Jaret (Kylie) as well as two precious great-grandsons.

A Celebration of Janie's Life is planned with her immediate family.
