Jay Joseph McGraw, 56, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 21,2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Jay was born in Elkhart, Indiana on May 29, 1969. He was a long-time member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, class of '87 and Indiana University.
Jay most recently worked for Frito-Lay after many years in retail management. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Christopher (Hannah) McGraw, Caroline McGraw and Abigail (Justin) McKenzie; grandson, Archer McKenzie; mother, Stella McGraw, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Kristen (Jeff) Morris of Carmel, IN and Karri (Doug) Blackwell of Fort Wayne; 8 nieces and nephews, and 3 great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph T. McGraw. Jay loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed sports, detective shows and playing games with his family.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday July 29, 2025 in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd. with visitation from 9:30-10:30am in the church. Visitation is also from 4-8pm Monday at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 3:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, Stillwater Hospice or Masses.
