Jeanice A. Irven, 86, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on December 7, 1937, to the late Harry and Blanche (Deck) Underwood. .

On June 7, 1986 in Fort Wayne, IN, she married David D. Irven who survives. Jeanice worked in food service at Fort Wayne's State Developmental Center until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Mary Palmer, Lois Yoder, Alice Hageman, Nina Hoover, and brothers Leon, Hugh, Chuck, and Paul Underwood.

Jeanice is survived by her husband and children, Carmen (Rich) Schoenherr, Tina Hayden Hindenlang, and Dennis (Cheryl) Hayden. Also surviving her are nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am, on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46825. The family will receive relatives and friends at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Catholic Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, IN.
