Jeanne C. McCormack, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital.

She was born on December 18, 1931 in Fort Wayne to the late Raymond H. and Annette G. (Poire) Bueter. Raymond was the owner of Bueter Chevrolet, a prominent Fort Wayne business from the late 1920's to the late 1950's.

She married William McCormack in November of 1955 at Saint Jude Catholic Church.

Mrs. McCormack worked as a teacher for Saint Rose and Saint Henry's.

She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Jeanne was a great fan of the Kentucky Derby and a wonderful supporter of Right to Life of Northeast Indiana. She loved Notre Dame and animals, especially her puppies. Most of all, Jeanne will be remembered for her great devotion to our Blessed Mother.

She is survived by her children, Renee (Bruce Murray) McCormack, John McCormack, Michelle (Don) Harber, Anne Greer, and Monique (Jeff) Ford; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, William; son, Michael McCormack; and siblings, Jaqueline Weis, Fr. Paul Bueter, Claire Clemens, and Marguerite Reith.

Mass of Christian Resurrection will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Dr., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with a Rosary being recited at 4 p.m.
