Jennifer Zamaites, age 52, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on July 10, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Framingham, MA on January 26, 1972, to John Zamaites and D. Jean (Pearson) Zamaites, who survive. After finishing her associate's degree in marketing, she worked at Harding and Dahm Real Estate Co. and the Mizpha Shrine. After completing her bachelor's degree, she was employed for 10 years by Catholic Charities in Fort Wayne. She taught life skills to Burmese Refugees, helped unemployed senior citizens find jobs, and finally became the North Region Director for Catholic Charities, as well as their Food Bank. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling the country with family.

Jennifer was also intrigued by ghost hunting and was one of the founding members of the Fort Wayne Chapter of Indiana Ghost Trackers. For many Halloweens, she could be heard on the radio discussing their adventures.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, a brother, John J. (Jenny M.) Zamaites, and two nephews, Nate & Will Zamaites, of Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her sister Jaimie Parker.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Ctr. Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Her family will receive relatives and friends for one hour prior to mass. Cremation will follow at Divine Mercy Crematory in Fort Wayne.
