Jose R. "Joe" Dominguez, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday January 30, 2025 at Stillwater Hospice Home. Joe was born in Dallas TX on January 18, 1933, the son of Rufus and Consuelo (Rayna) Dominguez. He attended Central Catholic High School where he played football and basketball. Joe served in the Merchant Marines and then in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Joe retired from Tokheim Corp. after many years with the company. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed boxing, swimming, fishing and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his brothers, Ricardo Dominguez of Chicago, Rufus Dominguez of Pensacola FL and Alfonso Dominquez of Fort Wayne; sisters, Juanita Quinones of New Haven, Isabel (Ray) Brock of Fort Wayne, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded by brothers, Ciprano Dominguez, John Dominguez, Jesse Dominguez and Lupe Dominguez.
