Jonathan Michael Ohlwine, age 35, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital. Born on June 24, 1988, he was the son of the late Robert Ohlwine and Sally (Born) Pierce, who survives. Jonathan attended Wayne High School in Fort Wayne. He worked as a laborer for K Industrial in Columbia City and for Empire in Indianapolis. When not working Jonathan enjoyed working out at the gym, listening to music, and hanging out with his friends. Above all, he loved his children and spending quality time with them was important to him. He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike. Left to cherish his memory are, his children, Jocelyn and Truman Ohlwine; his mother, Sally Pierce; sisters, Ruth (Jerry) Hart and Heather (Calvin) Gill; brothers, Eddie (Tara) Griswold and Joshua Montz; cousin, William (Chelsea) Born; and several nieces and nephews. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ohlwine; and his sister, Karolyn Griswold. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation beginning one hour prior.
