With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jose Miguel Alcantar, age 23, of Fort Wayne, IN who left this world on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Born on October 11, 2001, he was the son of Raymundo Alcantar Dominguez and Maria Ramirez.

Jose enjoyed playing soccer and spending time with his friends and family. He also was a car buff and loved muscle cars. Faith was important to Jose and he attended Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother, Alexander Alcantar; sister, Maria Guadalupe Alcantar; and grandfather, Rafael Alcantar.

A funeral service for Jose will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation for friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow the service at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
